Ahli bank announces opening of its new HQ in Oman

Omani bank ahli has opened its new headquarters at Al Wattaya region of the sultanate on the eve of its 15th anniversary and comes as part of its ambitious growth strategy in the banking sector.
 
The bank's new building has innovation at its core and has several facilities tuned to match a modern lifestyle. It follows an open-plan layout accommodating 1,000 employees, and other outstanding facilities. 
Focusing on enhancing accessibility, the three HQ buildings which are stretched over 34,000 sq m are linked through a network of corridors with a contemporary design which also connects the multi-level parking building to each of the floors of the building. 
 
A significant milestone in the bank's journey, the opening of the bank's new building, comes in line with its commitment to supporting the country's socio-economic growth and to Oman Vision 2040, said the bank in its statement. 
 
It was inaugurated by Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority in the presence of top delegates, customers and other stakeholders. 
 
Speaking at the launch, CEO Said Abdullah Al Hatmi said: "The inauguration of the new building not only evidences our business growth but also signals a further deepening of our longstanding commitment to our customers and the Sultanate as we continue to strive for new levels of excellence in the banking industry."
 
"We firmly believe that business success goes beyond profit and numbers, it also includes the lessons learned along the way. Expansion has always been a key part in our growth strategy, and this spectacular celebration attests to the same. This is not only a huge step for ahlibank, but also for the country as a whole," stated Al Hatmi.
 
The new state-of-the-art building is built keeping the highest international innovative standards of architecture in mind. With ahlibank's proven digital competence in providing a futuristic operating environment, the new building also incorporates enhanced digital services to reduce turnaround time and increase the accuracy of transactions, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
